Co-founder of DeepMind and 2024 Nobel laureate in Chemistry for AlphaFold. After leading Google DeepMind as CEO, he became its chair and Alphabet's chief scientist in August 2026, and continues to lead Isomorphic Labs.
Koray Kavukcuoglu
SVP, head of Google DeepMind & Chief AI Architect
Took over leadership of Google DeepMind as senior vice president in August 2026, overseeing Gemini model development, frontier research and the Gemini app and developer teams. A DeepMind researcher since 2012, he was previously its CTO and Google's chief AI architect.
