Google Cloud unveils the Gemini agent, with coworker agents that get their own email and identity

At Gemini at Work 2026, Google Cloud introduced a single Gemini agent for work that runs persistently in the cloud for hours or days, with four types of memory. Coworker agents get a cryptographically attested identity, their own storage and an @agents.company.com email address in Google Workspace.
