Google DeepMind unveils Genie 4, a real-time world model that generates audio natively

Genie 4 generates interactive worlds with music, ambient sound and dialogue, can be changed in real time with natural language, and uses Gemini 3.8 Flash as a guiding agent. It launches as a research preview for trusted testers, with a rollout planned to Google AI Ultra subscribers in Project Genie and to Gemini API early access partners.
