Musk says xAI's Colossus 2 could more than double its Nvidia chip count by year-end

Elon Musk says on X that the Memphis-area Colossus 2 cluster, currently running 110,000 Nvidia GB200 and 440,000 GB300 chips, should add 220,000 more GB300s within a week, another 220,000 in November and potentially a further 220,000 in December, taking the site toward 1.21 million GPUs.
