Nvidia agrees to acquire Hugging Face for $12.9B

Nvidia agreed to buy Hugging Face, home to 3M+ models and 18M users, pledging it will stay an open, hardware-agnostic platform; the deal is expected to close in H1 2027 pending regulatory approval.
