Mistral previews Mistral Large 4, a 1-trillion-parameter open-weight model

Mistral AI opens a public API preview of Mistral Large 4 ('Le Chonk'), a natively multimodal mixture-of-experts model with 1 trillion total and 52 billion active parameters, trained on 3,800 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs in its own European data centers. The weights are due at the end of October.
