Anthropic's amended IPO filing shows $17 billion Q3 revenue and warns it may soon reach self-improving AI

Anthropic's revised S-1 reports about $17 billion of third-quarter revenue, $33.24 billion over nine months and about $895.4 billion of purchase commitments, mostly compute. It adds that internal estimates indicate it may imminently meet its Responsible Scaling Policy threshold for dramatically accelerated progress attributable to AI.
